Subscription Terms & Billing Disclosure

1. Overview

This Subscription Terms & Billing Disclosure applies to all subscription plans offered by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("Waves Market Co."). By subscribing to any plan, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms. These terms supplement and are incorporated into our general Terms of Service.

2. Subscription Plans and Pricing

We offer the following subscription plans:

  • Waves Starter: $19.99 per month — 3–4 curated items, free shipping
  • Waves Essentials: $29.99 per month — 5–7 full-size items, member pricing on replenishments, free shipping
  • Waves Premium: $59.99 per month — 8+ exclusive items, concierge support, early access, free shipping

All prices are in US Dollars and exclude applicable taxes. Tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address.

3. Recurring Billing Authorization

By subscribing, you expressly authorize [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis for the applicable subscription fee plus any applicable taxes. This authorization continues until you cancel your subscription in accordance with the cancellation process described below. You are responsible for ensuring your payment information is current and valid.

4. Billing Frequency and Charge Dates

Your subscription fee is billed monthly, on the same calendar date you originally subscribed. For example, if you subscribed on the 10th of the month, your card will be charged on the 10th of each subsequent month. If your billing date falls on a day that does not exist in a given month (e.g., the 31st in February), the charge will occur on the last day of that month.

5. Free Trial and Introductory Offers

From time to time, we may offer free trials or introductory pricing. Unless stated otherwise, free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions at the standard rate at the end of the trial period. We will notify you by email at least 3 days before your trial converts to a paid subscription.

6. Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will provide at least 30 days' written notice of any price increase via email. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel before the price increase takes effect. Continued subscription after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.

7. Cancellation Rights and Process

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Subscriber Portal by navigating to My Subscription > Cancel Subscription. You may also cancel by contacting us at hello@wavesmarket.co or calling (800) 555-WAVE.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid billing period. You will not receive a refund for any unused portion of the current billing period. Your subscription benefits remain active through the end of the paid period.

If you cancel within 24 hours of your initial subscription purchase and have not yet received any products, you may be eligible for a full refund of your first month's charge. Contact us at hello@wavesmarket.co to request this.

8. Pausing and Skipping

Subscribers may pause their subscription for 1, 2, or 3 months via the Subscriber Portal. During a pause, no charges will occur and no boxes will ship. Subscribers may also skip a single upcoming shipment without pausing the entire subscription. Changes must be made at least 5 business days before your next billing date to take effect for that cycle.

9. Failed Payments

If your payment fails, we will retry the charge up to 3 times over 7 days. If payment is not received after 3 attempts, your subscription will be paused and you will receive a notification email. You can update your payment method through your Subscriber Portal to resume your subscription.

10. Managing Your Subscription

You can manage all aspects of your subscription at any time through your Subscriber Portal at wavesmarket.co/portal, including: viewing upcoming charges, updating payment method, changing shipping address, pausing or cancelling, and upgrading or downgrading your plan.
